  • wow, so many changes in just 2 years!!!

I am so surprised how quickly time passes. So many changes it is incredible. So many good news but so many bad news too. Plenty of unexpected surprises. And this is in JuSt 2 Years!

    1. Two year anniversary on May 25th of leaving New York and moving to North Carolina. Which i LoVe!

    2. Lina Nicole (my beautiful baby sister) turned 2 years old on Feb. 22nd.  She is 27 years younger than me, which is crazy but a blessing.

    3. God called my niece Eva to his arms on Feb. 3rd 2010. She was an angel we couldn't hold on to.

    4. My brother William and my sister in law Marleny suffered such a tragic loss that I am so grateful to God for giving them strength to go on.

    5. My brother Waldo fell in love. That's all I have to say.

    6. My mom's boyfriend propose to her around Valentines day 2010. And are going to get married on July 17th.

    7. My cousin Nina just had a baby boy now named Diego in May 2010. I am so happy for her but I am hoping one day soon the father steps up and shows his face. It takes two to tango.

    8. My boyfriend Marlon's sister Rhea just had a baby girl named Mikaylah in May 2010. I am so happy for them. And I miss holding Mikaylah.

    9. My friend Justine moved out of our apartment, leaving me and boyfriend to live on our own for the first time since we've been together. Which is 3 years and 5 months.

    10. Marlon decided to join the Army. I don't agree with that idea at all but he has made his decision.

    11. Marleny got a new job in Dominican Republic in which she loves. It is in this outsource company based in California.

There are so many changes but I can't even think right now. Need to refresh my memory. But I'll take a rest now. Gotta go back to cleaning.

  • New York changes everything?!!! Nahhhhh

When i think of my family, i think 'crazy ups and downs' and 'what the heck is happening' and 'i love this crazy, unexpected decision making family'. Why do i think like that?. Well, for one thing we seemed pretty normal in the beginning when my mom and dad and my two brothers lived in my country.  We did everything together, we went to church together, we went to the supermarket together and we all ate  at The Same Dinner Table together. But then we moved to New York and four years later when everything seemed perfectly normal and we were already used to what seemed like an overpopulated city life of New York, with it's stressed out, 'don't get close to my personal space', 'to tired to be kind' people,  then my mom and dad decided to take different directions in life.  Was i surprised, i sure was.  It would've been better to give me a heads up a month or several months before so i wouldn't take it so much of a shock. But hey. They chose it that way.

Well, anyway. After that, don't remember exactly when. My brother got married. A few years after that they had a baby and one year after that my mom found a new 'love' and had a baby too. So my little brother has a nephew that is one year younger than he is. It's kinda funny, cause my nephew who is 8 won't call my little brother who is 9 uncle. My little brother is 18 years younger than me.

Well, the story goes on. My brother  and his wife had a lot of trouble during their marriage that they divorced. And they each married to different people. During that time my father got married. A few maybe five years after that my brother divorced from his wife and his ex-wife (his son's mom) also divorced her then husband.  And they got together again, they are going to re-marry next year.  Even though i could've sworn that my dad and wife wouldn't last that's when they decided to have a child. Big shocker! Now i have a baby sister that was born this year. We are currently 26 years apart. There is more, but i'm tired of writing... off for the next time..

  • its truly been a long time since i had written my thoughts online. I've actually written my thoughts on paper the last four times. i completely forgot I had Xanga. The year 2008 has been incredible for me, so many things have happen and there has been so many changes in my life that are truly worth writing about. So these are 'some things to remember about 2008'. In my life:
    1. I moved out of N.Y.
    2. I've moved twice in 2008.
    3. I have got a new job. And I love it!
    4. Marlene and William moved back together again in May. (2 days before i moved to N.C.)
    5. I became a big sister for the first time on Feb.22. (We are currently 27 years apart)
    6. My cousin Raquel & Eddie got married.
    7. Waldo moved on his own.
There are a lot of other things that have happened that I'm happy about but these are the first one's that came to mind.
    I am thankful...

  • Being in this new stage in my life is almost unreal.  I remember months back when I thought about moving and how it would be and now that my thoughts have finally come to life it is amazing.  I have a new outlook on life, it's a new beginning.  A place where I can gather my thoughts, appreciate life, enjoy my surroundings and be with the one I love. I haven't started to work yet but I have to say that I'm a little excited and a little bored at times.

Where: Back Home in D.R. When: 1988 I remember it was a really nice but hot day. I was in the driveway riding my tricycle which at that time I thought it was boring since I felt too grown to be on it. I rode it for a couple of minutes until I heard my brother William yelling at someone in back o
